Welcome to the Oakwood PTA page! 
The PTA is a support system for teachers and a way for parents to be connected and involved at Oakwood. We are so excited to embark on new adventures this school year, and are eager for you, and your family to join us in serving our school. Joining the PTA can be as big a commitment as you want it to be. From attending meetings to volunteering to help at the Book Fair, Field Day, or Duty Free Lunch for teachers, your support is vital to the success of our organization. 

Our commitment to you as guardians of our children and to our staff is to support our teachers and staff at Oakwood, provide a nurturing and supportive environment for our children, and serve the Oakwood family in as many ways as possible.
We encourage all families to get involved in any way they can. Whether

you choose to serve on or chair a committee, be an active member, or simply

participate in our events, we want to make sure all families are welcome

and represented. Being an official member of the PTA puts you at the front line of information regarding volunteer opportunities and school events. It also gives you “a voice,”  and an opportunity to vote on issues and ideas that directly affect our students during our open, General Meetings.
